wow, its been a while haha. ive been so busy moving in to my dorm and making last minute memories back home that i forgot i even had a blog. sorry :(. no one even reads this haha.
BUT, i am officially a college student. and let me tell ya, its awesome. i moved in on august 27th. my room is soo small but once i got all my stuff together in it, it looks pretty cool. theres 3 freshman dorms on campus and i have to say that mine is the crappiest but you develop some kind of unconditional love for your dorm right from the beginning.

orientation sucked. it was 3 days long and there were a bunch of pointless activites. but i met so many awesome people all the bullshit was worth it. usually i never had problems remembering peoples names but i seriously met so many people i cant remember anyones names haha. all freshman have a class called Freshman Year Seminar (FYS). we got to choose the topic of our class and i picked "The Screwtape Letters". somehow, theres only 5 people in my FYS but i love it cause those are the people im already friends with.
i love it here though. i was dreading it so much before i left home. i didnt wanna come but once i got settled in here and started talking to people i thought "oh this isnt gonna be so bad". college life is so great. you get to do whatever you want, whenever you want and no one is there to bitch at you. i get out of my classes whenever the professor doesnt feel like talking anymore. my 2 hour long classes havent never lasted more than an hour. i dont have to rush from class to class and feel like i wanna kill myself at the end of the day like i did in high school. dont get me wrong though, the classes are much harder than high school and no one cares if you dont do the work and fail. the homework is hard and theres a TON of it. but its so much fun here that its worth the pain.
i went home last weekend. my aunt jill picked me up (dont wanna talk about it) and mike took me back here. brandi and i wanted to drink so we rented a motel room that was quite sketchy.. it was fun though. mike and i just watched movies like we usually do. he got to see my room when he dropped me off. i think he like it :) but i ended up having a room right across the hall from the RA, just my luck.. so its gonna be hard if i ever want him to spend the night.

oh and last but not least, the graffiti party! the school had a graffiti party as part of the orientation. what it was, was a party where they give everyone a white shirt and a sharpie and you just go around and sign everyones shirts. it might sound stupid but it was actually really fun.
